This Life Changing Moment

People have these moments. Moments that make them a different person. That one time when something really bad happens and you regret everything you've ever done and you start changing your lifestyle. That one time when you realize all the bad things that are happening in the world and you try to fix it. That one time a motivator came to school and told you how not to be such a bad person, and you started to realize you were such a disappointment to humankind. Wait, has anyone actually experienced that last one? No offense to motivators though or anyone who feels like a disappointment to mankind (Actually I kinda feel like one). These moments are probably the turning point in someone's life. Their life changing moment. The moment the world became clearer and easier to understand. I don't know if there is a minimum age to experience this moment but I think I've already experienced it.
Our books we were going to give up

How did this happen to me? Well, how would I know? It just did. It just happened. There is no 'how'. It was such an experience it changed my life. No, I didn't move to America. I didn't suddenly have magical powers. Still waiting for my letter from Hogwarts. Didn't discover any hint of existing elves. Still stuck on planet Earth. Now what exactly did happen? Here's what happened. Wait for it...........................................................
My mum (Deep Breath) SOLD 80% of MY BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BOOKS!!!!!!!!!SOLD!!!!!!!!

Okay, let's start from the beginning shall we? Oh wait, there isn't any. It's like one of the stories on my tests, no beginning, no introduction it just starts with the complication. Well it started on this one fateful day when my mum asked me which books I weren't reading anymore. BOOM!!!! Straight to the point. I was shocked (Duh). There is no book that isn't being read. Sure I'm not reading it right at this moment. But I might read it sometime later, maybe a few weeks? What if I'm bored and I want to read a book that I haven't read in years? (Yes that has happened) Just can't seem to picture myself apart from dusty old books that I haven't read in years.
More of our books from a different angle
What became of my books? They were gone. I said my goodbyes, all fine now. They'd be more of use with their new owners. That was a turning point in my life. The time I had to let go of something so dear and so valuable. My whole collection of books. Something so full of memories. Something that defines who I am as a person (what am I talking about?). Of course I kept my favourites. Harry Potter (of course), Narnia (for Ayesha), Lord of the Rings(Duh), Twilight, Hunger Games, Princess Diaries, 39 Clues, Sarah Dessen wait a second.............
Hey, I still have over 20 books! Now which ones were sold again? Oh, must be the ones I never read a second time, or actually cared about.

Well I guess it was only one of my many life changing moments to come. Exactly how is my life changed now? Well, now I don't really read proper books.

I'll explain it later
A.A
