Dubai!!! Finally, we arrived after 6 hours on the plane. I had no idea what time it was. The only thing I could think about was going to the toilet. Dubai airport is really crowded we almost couldn't find a seat. I couldn't sleep even though I wanted to. My parents fell asleep, I was scared that if I sleep we would miss the plane. Even though we set an alarm, I usually don't wake up if i hear an alarm anyway. I guess that is why I slept for 4 hours on the plane to france.
Even though it is old I watched the lego movie. After that Ayesha and I always sang "Everything is awesome"

Emirates
So we were riding a double decker plane (that's what I call it). It's not like we were seated at the second floor, but it was my first time riding something this. I forgot what our seat number was but It was definitely in the middle, you know how the seats go 3-4-3.
The entertainment was the best if I didn't sleep most of the time I would have watched 3 movies. It's too bad though, I don't count as a child anymore (since I'm already 12), so they don't give me the child meal. Since it was during the world cup they gave Ayesha these slapbands or something that has one of the 32 countries written on it if you understand. We didn't get any of the good countries though (no offense).
The food was awesome, even though I didn't get the snacks like Ayesha. At least there were crackers and butter. Butter!!! I love butter, everything just taste better with butter. That is why we stuffed every snack inside Ayesha's Emirate backpack. I still have some of it now!
The butter still taste yummy,

When time does not fly
When we went to Singapore my mum, sister and I went ahead of my dad because of something. Anyway the main point is that I had to wait 5 hours for my dad to land. I also had to wait again until it was 9 to board the plane.
It was a seriously long wait. Especially when we were still outside and not inside the transit zone. But we still had fun going back and forth the terminals. It was a bit better when we could go in the transit zone and get free Wi-Fi. It's really free!!! But only lasts for a few hours, oh well.
Time flew by so fast then, because my sister and I had so much fun playing "Papa's Pastaria". We could finally board Emirates!!!
The last time I was on Emirates I was 9. Now 3 years later I am riding it again!!! This time I can watch 3 movie per flight.

Packing?
Step 2: packing
It is essential that you know what to bring to Europe.
Things that are so obvious to bring I shouldn't be writing them:
Clothes (of course!)
Just remember not to bring too many. Even if your staying 2 weeks there is always a laundry somewhere.
Jackets (So obvious)
Even the summer is cold enough too make me shiver.
Tickets and all your transportation need
And extra shoes
Trust me you do not want to get soggy shoes when you go to disneyland, unless you want your parents to buy you new shoes.
Some things that may have slipped your mind:
Food!!!
Food is very expensive in Europe, so we brought our own.
Well I guess that was one thing.

Step-by step
Europe is a big (but not that big) continent. To travel around Europe without a plan would be crazy.
So here is a simple but long step-by-step instructions on how to travel around Europe like I did.
Step 1:Have enough money
My mom is an expert on finding cheap plane tickets. That does not mean there is a cheap flight to Europe. We were going on Emirates. Not because it was cheap (definitely not), but because we would have to stay inside that plane for 2x6 hours. The problem was the ticket is too expensive.
Plane tickets are not the only thing though. Don't forget about the hotels and the train tickets and food. It's all too much for me to think about. We spent so much money, my mother forgot to give pocket money to my sister.
I'll come back with something more to talk about.

Europe!!!
I just came back from Europe!!!
I finally went to another continent, and my collection of country just gets bigger. Before going to Europe I have only been in 5 countries (Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia), but after going to Europe I've been to 5 more countries.
One would think that the beginning of traveling is going to the airport, but actually it goes way back. There is a lot of steps. Luckily My mum did all of that, and all I needed to do is pack my bag and go. Unfortunately, I probably wont get pocket money for 3 months.
If you want to have a holiday exactly like me, (and I really mean exactly) you can follow these step-by-step instructions. But you must be an Indonesian that has lived in Australia for 5 years and has never been to Europe.
But of course, if you want to go to Europe but don't want tobe like me have holiday exactly like mine, then you can follow the alternative instructions.
I'll post them tomorrow.

We Meet Again "Bored"
I really have nothing to talk about. Well part of it is because I spent all of my time watching something that I can never finish. I'm quite addicted to this show. It has more than 100 episodes and I'm still up to episode 80. I will Definitely write a post tomorrow, and since this post is so dull I'm going to make my post more colorful than usual.

Flying Free
Is the title confusing you? It's because I don't know what else to name this post. Oh right, I just wanted to let everyone know, I graduated!!! Isn't that so awesome. Sorry once again for not writing, I totally won't do that again.
Well I just graduated from elementary school a few days ago, I'm finally free!!! You know (to the people who knows) graduating doesn't feel like anything special. Maybe it's because it's still elementary, I wonder what it will feel like when I graduate high school?
Well about the title, it was a song we sang at the graduation ceremony as a choir. The students in SAIMS are very talented.
I haven't told you about my time in year six (6) right, well there was a lot of tings going on in year six. I could finally talk to my friends and could communicate with Bahasa Indonesia. In SAIMS my friends really like to joke around. Sometimes they tease people, and sometimes they tease me. Thanks to them I totally improved my kicking skills.
I'll be back tomorrow. For real this time.

New School
So sorry I didn't have enough time to post. It turns out practicing for graduation takes a lot of time. I also got caught up in a really good book that I couldn't put down, but anyway I am here to write another post.
My last post before the last post was "Going to Darwin" right? Well like I said in my last post (confused?) now I am nearly at the end of elementary. Right now I am at the end of year 6, half a year behind my classmates in Australia.
I came to Indonesia before I finished my second term of year 5. School here starts in July so I had to be in year 5 for another year! So in total I have been in year 5 for 1 and a half years. You wouldn't believe it, but back then I was very shy (emphasize "very"). I wasn't the only newcomer though. There was 2 other girls. One of them was from Korea. If you heard she lived in Korea for a few years you would think she knew how to speak Korean If not English right? Well it turns out she didn't, because she did homeschooling. Well there goes my chance of speaking English.
I actually used to be here when I was in year 1. Since it was in year 1 I didn't really remember anything, but it turns out my friends still remember a tiny bit about me. When I was in year 1 i was very shy (emphasize "very") so it was amazing if anybody could make me talk. My friends kept telling me that back then I could only say "bebek" (duck) and I have no idea why.
I'm sorry I don't have any pictures. I don't take photos lately.
Until next time,

I'm Back
Here we meet again, after a long time. When was the last time I wrote on my blog? it's probably been more than two years! It feels so good to have my fingers on the keyboard again.
The last few years I've been really busy. If nobody knows yet, right now I am living in the city Surabaya which is in the country Indonesia. I've been living here since the year 2012.
I had a hard time fitting in my new school. I was finally starting to fit in when a big obstacle came. Much bigger than the ones that come every two years in Australia. It's the school test. In Indonesian it's called "Ujian Sekolah". If we don't pass this test we can't go to middle school. So that's why my friends and I spent the past year studying furiously.
Right now we finished taking our test and are preparing for our graduation. So I'll have a lot of time to update my blog. Starting from tomorrow I'll be sharing my stories.
Just wait a little longer.

Going to Darwin
On the 7th of June my family and I were getting ready to leave for Darwin, the first stop of our journey. We were leaving on a Jetstar plane that leaves at 1 pm and arrives at Darwin at 5 pm in Darwin time [which is one and a half hours time difference].
So we called a taxi, like we usually do, to go to the domestic airport. We went to do the normal procedure [since we've done this 10 times in the last 4 years], meaning we had to go through baggage drop and then through the x-ray things. Not as many things in the international terminal but I still thought it took a long time, like every other thing i think is boring. After we got our boarding passes and after our bags got checked, it was like still an hour to our flight. In my head I was like, come on! We should have arrived here two hours ago not three! My family and I waited in the food court. I was like so totally bored, there was I could do. Ayesha was really enjoying herself. She was talking with my dad about the planes, taking off and landing. i then took pictures of the planes, since I had nothing else to do.
Fifty minutes passed and we were walking to our gate, which the number I've forgotten. Then we boarded the plane and took our usual seats. Me by the window, Ayesha in the middle, Mum by the aisle and dad behind us, and so we begin our journey and say goodbye to Sydney at least for a month, I think.
Oh yeah, in the last post, I take back what i said. I say bored much more often now.

Ayesha on the way to pick me up |
I'm pretty sad about leaving Australia. I'm really going to miss everything here. I'm sure Indonesia's going to be different.
It was a nice last day at school. My teacher read one of the stories I write during writing time, I thought mine was okay. Everybody was nice to me that day, they all wrote a card. At the end the day I handed everybody a bookmark and we all took photos.
It was very sad having to go away. Seriously though, at that time I didn't feel any emotion at all. It's very incredible how I didn't say the word "Bored" in this post, [though honestly, I don't say that much anymore]. Until next time, later.

First term of school
After camp I go back to school for the second week of term one. It was a good term. I met new people, made new friends and learn new math, English and Cogs. My teacher, Ms Katsilis, have us do writing in the morning. She gets us to write narratives, exposition and information reports. I might share some on my blog.
I like this class, but I can't wait until the holidays because I'm going camping again!

camping at Narrabeen: The short morning
I woke up early in the morning and saw that everyone's tent was covered with dew from the fog last night. I had a pretty good night last night, since that wasn't my first go. I saw Amy sitting down with her mum and her little sister. I went to join them. I found a seat and waited for the others to wake up. A few minutes went by and somebody woke up. By 7 o'clock everybody was up and talking to each other.
We waited for our breakfast while we talked. We said things like "If you get off your chair and someone else takes it, you don't have the chair unless you say reserved before you go" or " I heard you say the word 'what' " or else "Today's total of the number of the word 'what' being said is 73." The breakfast came and we had corned beef and ate seaweed for a snack afterwards.
We all started packing up after we finished breakfast. Rere was the first to finish. When we completed everything, there was nothing on the block except the cars and ourselves. Everybody was going at 10 o'clock, as it was the checkout time, and we all went home started a different story.
